Should none of the partner institutions be possible, it is possible in some universities to accomplish a semester abroad as a free mover. As a free mover, students organize their stays abroad independently. Interested students should contact the International Office at HfG as well as the International Office of the relevant destination university with plenty of time in advance.
There are often tuition fees to be paid. You can find tuition fees of each country on the country database of the DAAD website. Financial support from Erasmus+ is unfortunately unavailable. An application for the PROMOS scholarship is advisable.
