The exhibition Looking up at you looking down on us by HfG alumnae Lizzy Ellbrück and Johanna Schäfer can be seen at the Bruchsal art association "Das Damianstor".

At this point, no predictions can be made.

The historical backdrop of Damian's Gate serves as a framework in which Johanna and Lizzy explore the rhythms of non-human inhabitants - especially birds - between fact and fiction. From their temporary domicile in the entrance to the baroque residential palace, they combine excerpts and sideplots from their two diploma theses to create new storylines, restaging and speculating on gestures of possession, representation, home-making and belonging.

Falling in step / like birds of a feather.

With a guest contribution by Bruno Jacoby and Jonas Gründwald, who follows 5,674 crows through the internet and around the world.

The exhibition was organized at the invitation of the Kunstverein Bruchsal and with the support of the Lions Club Bruchsal Schloss, which awards the Giovanni Francesco Marchini Prize to graduates of the HfG Karlsruhe every two years.

We will have time for all this later, you are on my mind.

Opening hours: Saturdays 2-5pm and Sundays 11am-5pm, as well as on request.
